Start by registering one AI system — give it a name, set the risk tier, and assign an owner. Add a decision: the specific business outcome that AI influences. Open an evidence pack for that decision, choose your schema, and work through the guided sections. The platform surfaces gaps as you go. When your required fields are complete, export the PDF.

An evidence pack is a structured, versioned document that links specific claims about your AI governance — who oversees it, how overrides work, what data it uses — to specific evidence artefacts, with timestamps and a signed attestation record. It answers what auditors actually ask: not whether you have a policy, but whether you can show a record of a human reviewing and overriding the AI output.

AuditEvidenceAI currently supports EU AI Act (Articles 11, 12, 14, and 26), NIST AI RMF (Govern, Map, Measure, Manage), ISO/IEC 42001, and NYC Local Law 144. Schemas are pre-built for general AI governance, talent and hiring decisions, payroll, and finance. Each schema maps its questions directly to the relevant articles of the applicable framework.

The readiness score gives you a real-time view of how audit-ready your evidence pack is, from 0 to 100. It reflects the completeness of your required fields, the number of evidence artefacts attached, and the presence of key governance elements like an oversight role, monitoring cadence, and change process. A score of 85 or above indicates the pack is structured to a standard auditors will accept.

Yes. Once your required fields are complete, the export button activates and generates a structured PDF containing every section narrative, the evidence index with all attached artefacts, your readiness score, and the attestation record with name, role, and timestamp. Ready to hand directly to an internal auditor, external regulator, or board committee.

No. AuditEvidenceAI is a documentation and evidence management tool — it structures and records your governance decisions, but cannot make legal determinations about whether your specific AI deployment meets all applicable requirements. Always seek independent legal advice for formal compliance assessments.

Not automatically. Completing an evidence pack creates structured, auditor-ready documentation of your governance — a significant part of what the EU AI Act requires. But compliance also depends on the controls you have in place, not just their documentation. AuditEvidenceAI helps you identify gaps and document the controls you have. The legal compliance determination is yours, ideally with legal counsel.

AuditEvidenceAI is hosted on infrastructure with data stored in the EU (Frankfurt region). The platform is registered in England and Wales and operates under UK GDPR. Our Data Processing Agreement is available at auditevidence.ai/dpa.

Yes — the platform is free to start. Your first three evidence packs are free with no credit card required and no commitment. This gives you enough to document your highest-priority AI decisions and see exactly what the platform produces before deciding whether to continue.

After your 14-day trial you can choose a paid plan.ed evidence packs, unlimited AI systems, full framework coverage, and direct support. Your free packs will remain accessible regardless of whether you upgrade. We will give users clear notice before any changes take effect.

On the free plan, you can create up to three evidence packs. On the paid plan (£199/month), there is no limit on packs or AI systems. You can document every AI-influenced decision in your organisation under one account.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is controlled by row-level security — users can only access their own organisation’s data. We do not share your evidence pack content with third parties. Review our full security and privacy practices in the Privacy Policy and DPA linked in the footer.

Yes. You can delete individual evidence packs and AI system records from within the platform at any time. To request full account deletion, email hello@auditevidence.ai. Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days.

Only users within your organisation who have been granted access can view your evidence packs. Admins control who has contributor and viewer access. AuditEvidenceAI staff do not access your pack content except in exceptional circumstances where you have explicitly requested support and authorised access.
